Baseball season!

If anyone had a case of the Mondays today, you are not a true-blue American. I’m sorry for offending anyone and I know everyone hates Mondays but TODAY is THE GREATEST DAY OF THE YEAR!

Today is the official start of summer. I know it is only April but summer is here. Anyone care to ask why??? Opening day of the 2010 baseball season!!!

I checked Facebook just for fun and all but one item on my news feed today had to do with baseball, or opening day. It was a great sight to see. People of all ages and races, baseball fanatics and occasional viewers - everyone was watching some sort of baseball today.

I don’t care if you are a Cubs or White Sox fan, the next five months will be full of fun and excitement. Every day there will be baseball on television and I know most people will be watching it. Between the Blackhawks and baseball, I think everyone in Chicago is excited and ready for the NHL playoffs to start.
